THERE IS EXTRA STEEL BARS PLACED AROUND THE MAIN DRAIN APPROX 100mm (4") AWAY FROM THE DRAIN.

DRAIN STEEL

The steel bars are to provide extra strength around the drain.
Note the drain is set with its top at the finished level of the concrete.
